Join and let us show you a real Hungarian secessionist town in the heart of the Great Hungarian Plain! Our first stop is Kecskemét, „the capital of the Hungarian Plain”, where we visit the main sights of the city in the course of a short walk: the Secession-styled Town Hall and Fancy Palace, József Katona Theater, Great Church and the Synagoge.
We give you some free time and then travel to the Varga Farm, where true to „Hungarian Welcome” you will be greeted with famous Hungarian Pálinka (spirit) and Pogácsa (savoury scone). After a pleasant carriage ride comes the highlight of the day, the stormy and at the same time traditional horse show with the „Csikósok” (Horseherds), who show us the famous „Puszta ten”, as well (while 10 horses galloping, a horseherd is standing on their back).
After the show you have opportunity to horse-riding and then we invite you for a three-course lunch in the nice restaurant of the Farmstead. The menu is Goulash Soup, chicken with potato, rice and salad on a wood platter, dessert, red and white wine, mineral water and coffee accompanied with live Gipsy music.
After the rich programme we travel back to Budapest, where the tour ends.
